There will be events throughout the day, including a Christmas themed breakfast, craft vendors, food trucks, musical performances and lighting of the Community Christmas Tree. The parade with Santa Claus, marching bands and dance groups begins at 6 p.m. Dec. 8 on Main Street, New Iberia.
