This year, the annual Mamou Veteran’s Day celebration will be a two day event.
-Friday, Nov. 9th: 7pm-11pm Entertainment (Adults only). Live DJ music,food and drinks for sale.
-Saturday, Nov. 10th: Veteran’s Day Parade. Line-up at the Mamou High School, 1008 7th street, starts at 10am. Parade kicks off at 11am. The route will lead to the American Legion building where the ceremony will begin.
The Mamou Elementary French Immersion students will perform, a cake raffle and a shoe box float contest will take place, life-sized cartoon characters will be on-site and among other exciting activities.
