The Holy Ghost Creole Festival is usually a time to celebrate the traditions, music, and food of Creole culture in and around Opelousas. In 2021, the full festival will be put on hold due to COVID-19 concerns. You can still get a taste of the festival and support their efforts with these delicious plate lunches.
November 5 10am-2pm,

Pork Stew, BBQ Chicken and Pork Steak dinners, boudin, pies, funnel cakes, and cracklins
All dinners include rice dressing, green beans & yams. Food will be served in outside booths in the Holy Ghost Catholic Church parking lot.
Social distancing and face masks are required. You can request drive-through pick-up.
Tickets can be purchased after weekend masses or at the parish office during normal business hours.
