Vermilionville will host its Virtual Native American Culture Day on Saturday, November 21. The Facebook event will feature Native American Tribes from across Louisiana, including: the Chitimacha, the Canneci N’de Band of Lipan Apache, the Avogel Tribe of LA, the Isle de Jean Charles band of Biloxi-Chitimacha-Choctaw, The Point-au-Chien Indian Tribe, and more. Topics they will discuss or demonstrate are drumming, folktalks, and ceremony and its importance in the culture.  There will also be panel discussions.  The virtual day starts at 10am on Saturday, November 21 on Facebook.
