Families can experience the charm and warmth of an Old-Fashioned Christmas, Friday, Dec. 2, 6-8 p.m., in downtown Carencro. The Carencro Cultural District is hosting the free event at the Patriots Pavilion, and with a theme of White Christmas 2022, there’s even a forecast for snow. Featured activities include:

• City Christmas Tree Lighting
• Pictures with Santa
• Stories with Mrs. Claus
• White Christmas Snowfall
• Holiday Music from local students, plus a special appearance by Dustin Sonnier
• Kids Crafts, including letters to Santa, making reindeer food, decorating cookies, making ornaments, and more

The Patriots Pavilion is located behind Carencro City Hall, 210 E. St. Peter Street.
