Every year, Parish Proud celebrates Acadiana by picking a location in Lafayette Parish to transform it for the good of the community. This year Parish Proud has selected Downtown Lafayette as the location for Parish Proud Day 2023.

On Saturday, September 16th, 800 volunteers will arrive in Downtown Lafayette to put all of their energy in beautification and placemaking efforts. From landscaping, painting, litter pick up, mural creations, pressure-washing and more, there will be various projects taking place to enhance the appearance and functionality of Downtown Lafayette; enhancements for everyone to enjoy.
