UL Lafayette Students have the chance to make a difference when they donate at the blood drive on campus in front of Dupre’ Library and the between Dupre’ and Montgomery Hall from 9am-3pm on Wednesday, Oct. 30th
Donors will receive a Halloween T-shirt (while supplies last), a coupon from Chick-fil-a for a FREE sandwich or nugget, and a Lafayette Lanes FREE game pass.

Blood donation takes about an hour from check-in to refreshments. Donors can save about 20 minutes by completing their Fast Track Health History the day they donate. It’s at vitalant.org.
Volunteer blood donors must be at least 16 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. Additional height/weight requirements apply to donors 22 and younger, and donors who are 16 and 17 must have signed permission from a parent or guardian.
Blood donations dropping off around holidays is a bit spooky, but Vitalant and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette students are here to ensure there’s an ample blood supply. Blood donations saves 12,000 lives every single day and is needed every two seconds in the U.S. Blood donors like those at UL Lafayette ensure patients right here in Lafayette never have to go without.
