Halloween is spooky, not having enough blood is more spooky. As a vital blood donor, you can help prevent blood shortages. Join Vitalant this Halloween for a chilling good time and find what makes you awesome.

Join us Halloween day at the Lafayette Blood Donation Center and come dressed up to save lives. Donors will receive Halloween cookies as well as the following: an “AWEsome” t-shirt, $25 Amazon gift card (online rewards), entry to win a $100 Amazon Gift Card, and entry to win a $300 Gas Card.

Blood donation takes about an hour from check-in to refreshments. Donors can save about 20 minutes by completing their Fast Track Health History the day they donate. It’s at vitalant.org.

Volunteer blood donors must be at least 16 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. Additional height/weight requirements apply to donors 22 and younger, and donors who are 16 and 17 must have signed permission from a parent or guardian.
