WORD CRAWL: A 12-Hour Marathon of Creative Expression will be Saturday, September 14, 2019 from noon to midnight at 6 Venues in Downtown Lafayette along Jefferson Ave.

On September 14th, downtown Lafayette will be overrun with poets and various artists from central and south Louisiana. Word Crawl brings together a diverse group of literature lovers and creative enthusiasts.  Word Crawlers will wind down Jefferson Ave. in many venues from cafes, to museums, to bars. All funds raised go towards the annual Festival of Words in November, which brings established authors to give public readings and writing workshops in community centers and public school classrooms.
